Cost: $500 plus HST
Includes: One day use of the gym and kitchen (propane/electricity), bar service ($180 our cost), security ($100 our cost) table set up and clean up day after event ($100+ our cost), and outdoor sign if available.
Requirements: 50% payment upon booking to hold your date. Date cannot be confirmed until payment is received.

Q: How do I book my event?
A: North Shore Community Centre requires a 50% booking deposit to reserve your event date and agreed upon services. Call Kaye Holmes at 902-672-1684 to check for availability and more information.
Q: What items do you have in the kitchen that we can use?
Please see this list of items. As of January 2015.
Q: What happens to my deposit if I need to cancel?
A: If you cancel at least 4 months before your event date AND we are able to re-book for that date, then we will refund your deposit. Otherwise, your deposit is non-refundable and is used to offset the loss of revenue.
Q: How are the tables and chairs arranged for my event?
A: You tell us how you want the layout to be and we can help set it up for you.
Q: What kind of tables and chairs are available?
A: The hall has 28 - 6 foot tables, and 8 sturdy card tables. There are 250 chairs, as well as about 35 other chairs.
Q: What time does the event have to end by?
A: Generally events should finish no later than 1 a.m.
Q: Our group is a charity trying to raise money. Will North Shore Community Centre give us a cut rate on the rent?
A: Please give us plenty of lead time for your event. Fill out this form and email it will be taken to a board for a decision.
Q: What is the centre's capacity?
A: The fire marshal has set capacity at 235 on the main level and 65 upstairs.
Q: Can I bring in our own wine for the tables?
A: No, the hall has Special Premise License for the hall, and must follow the Provincial legislation.
Q: Can I make a special request to add to the bar selection?
A: Yes, if you require a special type of liquor, please ask. We do require it to be purchasable through the PEI Liquor Control Commission. If the purchase is more costly, we will decide that together.
